A 27-year-old female patient Mallika Mandal came to the hospital withOptic Disc Pit with Persistent SRF at Macula in her left eye with 6/12 vision.

Optic pits are congenital excavations of the optic nerve head that may beassociated with other abnormalities of the optic nerve and peripapillaryretina. Optic pits occur in about one in 10,000 people, with no genderpredilection, and are usually sporadic.

She was operated for the same – Vit+MP+FGE+IVTA+BBG+(ERM+ILMRem)+PFCL+Inverted Flap+C3F8 Gas.
