Case Details

1. Traumatic subconjuctival IOL migration removal with large iridodialysis repair with pupilloplasty and vitrectomy – Dr. Asif Virani

2.Foldable scleral fixated intraocular lens ( CMT- Flex IOL ) implantation to correct Aphakia –Dr. Sheetal Divate

A 66 year old male patient came to our OPD with chief complaints of pain, redness, diminution of vision since last 3 days

Patient gave history of blunt trauma by wood 3 days back.

There is no significant systemic or past history.

On examination, his best corrected visual acuity (BCVA) was 6/24 in right eye and hand movements in left eye.
Left eye also had congestion, CCC, subconjuctival IOL migration, large superior iridodialysis (ID) and posterior segment showed vitreous hemorrhage.

Surgical repair was done in 2 steps. First as a primary repair, the IOL was explanted and pars plana vitrectomy was performed with id repair by pupilloplasty and patient was kept aphakic.
